IMG_6273Do you ever make the same smoothie or juice over and over again?  Sometimes you get it spot-on, other times, it’s a bit hit-and-miss?!  I was scrolling through Instagram recently and found a smoothie recipe that sounded amazing, so I made it!  I have tweaked the recipe ever so slightly so I can cheekily claim it as mine, but it’s delicious and SO pretty!  This smoothie has cayenne pepper in it.  However, you don’t have to add it, but it’s delicious if you like a bit of spice!  Cayenne pepper is more than just a spice, it’s a medicinal super power!  Did you know that cayenne pepper is an anti cold and flu agent, helps reduce toothache, has anti-ageing qualities, promotes heart health, prevents migraines, is a digestive aid and assists detoxing.  What a little gem!

INGREDIENTS:

2 oranges, peeled

1/2 cup of mango (fresh or frozen)

1 pink grapefruit

1 small handful of gogi berries

1/4 teaspooon of cayenne pepper

1/2 cup coconut water

METHOD:

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for one minute.

Serve and consume straight away.  Yummo! xx
