I wanted to reach out to you, personally, on behalf of Rob, myself and our amazing Team.
It is difficult to escape the rather unsettling energy currently gripping the World. We, at The Nook, are dedicated to creating a space for you to enjoy and to escape the turbulent nature outside our four walls.
Our space has become a haven for movement, spiritual growth, health and wellbeing as well as laughter, tears and everything in between. You, our amazing Community, are the backbone of our business and your support, as always, is greatly appreciated.
When we are faced with unsettling times, we can feel vulnerable, anxious, scared and somewhat displaced and disconnected. Please be assured these are all expected emotions.
We want to reassure every person who walks through our doors that we are going above and beyond, as always, to create a clean, sanitised and happy space for you to visit.
Please make use of our hand sanitisers, wipes and mat sprays during your visit.
For the time being, we are locking our Bay Road doors. Please enter The Nook when you visit through the sliding doors on the North side of the building. This ensures higher standards of hygiene as no handles are touched.
We are regularly wiping and spraying our equipment, however, please feel free to bring your own mat, yoga props or blankets should you feel more comfortable. We want you to feel as happy as possible!
We are currently implementing a no-towel, no-workout policy. Due to the current climate, we feel this to be fair. We have towels available for use, however, they are limited. Please be sure to bring a workout towel for your classes. (Yoga is optional, especially if you are practicing on your own mat).
At this time, The Nook’s doors will remain open. We view it as business as usual. We feel it most important to keep a sense of calm and normality. Out Trainers and Teachers are here for you to bring about a sense of calm and bring you a few much-needed laughter and fun!
We are, currently, examining class numbers to comply with Government Restrictions. Ammendments have already been made to some classes.
Movement is most important during times of stress. It benefits our body not only physically, but emotionally and mentally, as well.
Our in-house health consultants are still here for you, also. Tarsh McCallum, Danielle Tranter and Nikita Wasson are here for you in whatever capacity you require. Their doors are open at The Nook in whatever capacity you require.
We want to thank you so much for your amazing support throughout this time. We, also, would like to take this opportunity to state how important it is to business owners to have your support at this time. So many beautiful local businesses have been impacted, so, please make sure you visit where you can.
The entire Nook Team wish to thank you for your ongoing support. If any changes occur, we will be sure to keep you updated.
Jo and The Nook Team
