“After having my autobiography published, and seeing for myself how it helped people, I began to realise that my passion and goal in life is to help, inspire and motivate others in a loving, nurturing way.”
Jo Fincham is an Holistic Health and Lifestyle Coach, best-selling author, motivational speaker, professional photographer and a student of life.
After suffering a debilitating eating disorder and depression for many years, Jo was determined to change her life around. She sought help – one of the most important aspects of rehabilitation and recovery. One of the most beneficial aspects to her recovery was penning an autobiography, Out of the Blue which documented her illnesses, her steps to recovery and discovering her passion for helping others.
Jo views individuals as her teachers and feels we can all learn a lot simply by talking and above all, listening. Her autobiography opened the doors to motivational speaking, helping students with low self-esteem in schools, running health and wellness workshops, to studying through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York to continue her passion to help others in the areas of the body, mind and soul.
Jo grew up in Melbourne, but after moving to country South Australia after meeting her husband, Rob, on the reality television series, The Farmer Wants a Wife, she now lives a happy, healthy life in the great outdoors and surrounded by nature – one of the key elements in her recovery. She is also a mother to two girls, Darcy and Maggie and expecting her third later this year.
Jo is a life enthusiast and believes that being grateful, feeling blessed, nourishing the body, calming the mind and seeing the best in everyone is key to overall health and wellbeing.
Her goal is to guide people to feel the best version of themselves, falling in love with their bodies and accepting, nurturing and loving every inch of themselves.
